Today we have a Smith and Wesson model 61-2 in 22LR. Also known as the Escort or Pocket Escort the model 61 was only made for a short time, from 1970 to1973. These small handguns were designed as a self-defense of “backup” gun. This handgun is a first-year production. Overall condition is good with only a small spot on the right front of the frame where the nickel plating has chipped off. Rifling is strong and bright.
