Today we have a rare Springfield model 1896 Carbine in 30-40 Krag. This gun is dated 1895 on the reviver. This rifle falls within the known serial number range of the rifles received by the Rough Riders. Unfortunately, someone has Chrome plated it, so we consider it to have 0% bluing, but stock is in great shape. Rifling is strong and shootable.
