Today we have an 8 3/8-inch Nickel-plated S&W model 29-2 in 44 Magnum. The S&W 29 was the first revolver to ne chambered in the 44 Magnum in 1955 and was considered the most powerful commercial handgun round till 1983 when it was dethroned by the 454 Casull. This revolver comes with nor the original wooden display box and shipping box. The overall condition is in great shape with only slight rub marks on the barrel under and beside the 44 magnum stamp. Rifling is strong and bright, and lockup is tight.
