Today we have a police trade-in Sig P229 in 40S&W. The 229 was introduced0 in 1992 to as an upgrade to the P228 as a sturdier duty/conceal carry gun. As a police trade-in these handguns are equipped with night sights and has had the original plastic grips replaced with rubber Hogue grips. This handgun shows the typical signs of a duty gun with minor rub marks on the rail, sights and magwell and a few pieces and missing from the grips.
