Today we have a Savage 1917 in 32ACP. Made from 1907 to 1920 with this handgun being made in 1917. With slogans like “Ten shots QUICK” and “The only gun a burglar fear” and with endorsements from the famous Buffalo Bill and Bat Masterson it was easy to see why this, and its earlier variants were a popular choice for the civilian market. Rifling is strong but dark. The bluing is worn but fitment is tight.
