Description
Today we have a Sako M39 recently imported from Finland by PRI. The M39 was given the nickname Ukko-Pekka (Uncle Pekka) after the former Finnish president Pehr Evind Svinhufvud compromise between the Army and White guards requests for a new standard rifle. This Rifle was made in 1943 and was bought from the Finnish Army on 10-06-2023. The Black tag is the indicator from the Finnish military that it came from their inventory. Overall condition is good as these rifles were arsenal refurbished before being put into storage. The buttstock looks to have been repaired at this time. Rifling is strong and bright.
