Today we have a for sale a nickel-plated Colt Single Action Army. Colt Single Action Army was designed for the government trials of 1872 and was adopted by the US Army as the model 1873. This pistol is commonly known as the Peacemaker.
This Gen. 3 Colt Single Action Army is chambered in .45 LC. The original nickel finish is in very good shape. This classic revolver appears to have been shot very little. The rifling is crisp, but the bore needs cleaned. There is minor wear on the cylinder, the timing appears correct, and the cylinder locks up tight. There are some noticeable blemishes in the finish on the bottom of the trigger guard as well as the butt plate. There is minor holster wear on the barrel. Overall, this revolver is in excellent condition, and would make a great addition to your Colt collection or would make someone a great shooter.
