Today we have for sale a COP derringer made by COP Inc, out of Torrance, CA in 357Mag. They were in business in the 1983-1990 but have been out of business for many years. The COP stands for Compact off-duty Police and was marketed that way when produced. This is a fairly scarce pistol that is seldom encountered. This pistols design features a 4-barrel derringer with a rotating firing pin that ries 1 round at a time. It is an interesting design similar to the sharps derringer from the 1850s. They are made from an all-stainless steel and do have some weight to them. The weight is 1.75 pounds, and the barrel length is 3.25 inches including the chamber. You can shoot both 357 Mag and 38 Spl in this firearm. This model of firearm has been in several movies such as Blade Runner, Bad boys and many others. Overall, this pistol is in good condition with a few light scratches and scuffs. The grips are in good condition with no visible cracks or chips. The lockup is good the boars is in good shape. An interesting pistol that would fit into any collection.
